New template
Some of you may have noticed that I (finally) changed the template. Now you can actually leave comments, which, frankly, terrifies me. I am terrified that you will comment and terrified that you won't.

So, remember when you see all those 0s in the archives, that we only just today turned on the comment function.

Oh, thank Zeus that Rosebuds up there mentions Iranians down the line. I was so terrified that a long-time reader actually thinks this weblog is about the "Iraqi society"! Typos can be scary.

BTW, the new template is ugly Emerald.

Oh and upload us some photos. You can use the free Hello.com software, it works well with Blogger. Or better yet, get a Flickr account. Everyone's doing it now, show some "cheshm o ham cheshmi" woman :)

Hello T, I just sent you an email. Your blog looks great. That refrain, I remember it so well from my time in Iran, "We love Americans, it's the government we don't like". It's reassuring to read your blog and see through your eyes what is both so familiar and distant.

I've been reading your blog since the beginning. Good Job.Keep it up.
As for Rosebuds' mistake, let's just say that such mistakes are enough to start a war, so never again...

Thanks for adding comments. I've been reading your blog for some time, comparing your comments about Iranian society with what I'm discovering here in the US among Iranian-Americans. it's been interesting!

HI,
I AM AN IRANIAN(AMERICAN NOW) LIVING IN US, AND I AM HAPPY TO SEE YOUR VIEW AS AN AMERICAN INSIDE IRAN. AS YOU CAN SEE PEOPLE IN IRAN LOVE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND GOODIES. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, WHILE YOU ARE AT IT, TEACH SOME FARSI IN HERE FOR OUR ENGLISH SPEAKING READERS.

As a long time friend, I've been following your blog since day one. It's funny, irreverent, filled with unique insights and REAL. I've forwarded it to everyone I know b/c it's so important for Americans to read about what's really happening in Iran. Your blog has really opened my eyes up about the mythic and too easily demonized (in the US) Iranian society. I would really love to see K's beautiful country myself one day. Keep it coming girl!
