BS is BS in any language

Turned on the satellite and **click** Bill O’Reilly:

“I am not worried about North Korea because I think China can contain them. Iran, on the other hand, I do worry about. If they get nuclear weapons they *will* give them to the terrorists and POOF Cleveland goes up in smoke.”

It was the last minute of Oprah.

POOF Cleveland goes up in smoke.

Every time I see these FOX news pundits I am reminded of the regime: They use the same tactics: bs, hyperbole, fear, and ignorance (their own and ours).

Sometimes the regime gets it right. Sometimes FOX news gets it right. Most of the time both depend on our lack of critical thinking skills and, in the case of FOX, our inalienable right to be entertained to numb us into inaction.

it is not very strange.even independent media and interprators like chamsky have unclear and wrong picture from iran for example chamsky in his last article i have read in internet describe khozestan as an arab province which stand with iraq against iran during 8 years war.every uneducated iranian know it is not true because most of the population of khosestan are lur/persian and they defeat thier home agianst iraq invadation.
so it is not starnge that a media like fox manipulate the facts by its demands...i'm very sorry for the democracy in the west.in acton it is not differ with our dictatorship

Fox has 2 main problems:
Bill O'Reilly, what a blowhard!! Listen to his radio show, which is actually good, but you can tell the difference in his manner, which shows how fake he is on TV

Greta VanSustren, what a bunch of useless voyerism!! Who cares about Natalee Holloway, and all the other visible and "interesting" cases she constantly shows. Dozens of people are murdered every day in poor areas, but no, she has to focus on spoiled and stupid rich white girls.

If you like politics with your news, but you want it FAIR, watch Brit Hume. He doesn't pretend to be anything but a conservative, but he has real debate on his show. If you are into the economy, Neil Cavuto is VERY good. He doesn't go for the trendy doom and gloom crap.

What a surprise to see the Brown Shirts, in Foxaganda busy laying the foundations for yet another war?

O'really a known CIA asset, working for a reactionary Zionist Supremacist namely one Murdoch, who is currently married to a Filipino/Thai mail order bride, after divorcing his wife, and putting in place a total news blackout about the court proceedings, in California.

The same Semitic Supremacist owning the 'Weekly Standard' the neo-con rag that is housed only two floors away from the neo-con playpen that American Enterprise Institute, the rag that boasts a whole 2000 copy circulation, but is projected as ten thousands (must be pulping the rag after publication, not an unusual practice in US), under the editorship of one Billy Krystol, son of Irvin Krystol the paranoid student and follower of Trotsky, and a cold-war, warrior whom for years tried to narrow every conceivable gap with USSR; missile gap, aircraft carrier gap, bomber gap, bomb gap, you name it gap (best salesman for the military industrial complex).

The smoke over Cleveland is no different to the mushroom clouds of Saddam WMD, hence the same bunch of lickspittles are at again, the real surprise is the dumb morons whom watching the utter hate, and rubbish spewed by Foxaganda, getting brainwashed into believing they thought of it all by themselves, and the righteous decision that they have arrived at; nookkular them Eye'Rainians, them there ragheads now!

The fact is, often the narrow, and obtuse interpretation of the concept of democracy, through the current didactic discourse, wholly discounts the total absence of democracy in its wider context in the US, UK, commonly known as International Community, and or the West. As reflected in the current climate of lies, and deceit surrounding the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, etc.

However, the real reason for the sponsors of the loud mouths to beat the drums of war is good old brigantine, piracy, and privateering, that is passed on as free market capitalism. In other words why pay for the oil, when you have it for free. All this printing of the dollars, has got of hand and is seen in the value of the dollar that is sliding, so cut the middle man out, stop the printing presses, and get on with firing the big guns!

PS. 'remind me of the regime', could you clarify which 'regime' did you have in mind?

Gee , why would anyone in America think Iran has any ill intent.

How DARE Bill O'Reilly listen to what Iran tells the world.

The [Iranians] President’s chief strategist, Hassan Abbassi, has come up with a war plan based on the premise that “Britain is the mother of all evils” – the evils being America, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, the Gulf states and even Canada, all of whom are the malign progeny of the British Empire. “We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization,” says Mr Abbassi. “There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them… Once we have defeated the Anglo-Saxons the rest will run for cover.”

Winston, you really are using classic anti-semitic arguments. Certainly there are more reasonable ways to frame your argument.

Anonymous, or as your signature refers to you, Winston Effingham Smith; you make me laugh with your contradictory hate filled rant. You first call fox news Nazis, then call them Zionists.

Well which is it? The two are mutually exclusive.

Classic!

Ergo, I rest my case!

Vince foaming at the mouth, starts to defend Billy, then proceeds to regurgitate the drip feed mind enema that he has been subjected to, get here, and drivel on, verily believing he has reached a conscious decision uttering the unconscious drivelling, and stuff of the nightmare that he has absorbed.

ET conflating Semitic Supremacy, the definitive description of Zionism, with Judaism, proceeding to level the trumped up charge of anti-Semitism.

Simply overlooking the fact that being Jewish somehow is not akin to having a license to be racists, and obnoxious. Further, the conflation of Zionism/Semitic Supremacy is a lazy attempt to portray any opposition to the pernicious, and virulent doctrines of Supremacy with Semites in mind, as hatred towards a group of people, ie the Semites.

While Murdoch has systematically eliminated, and sacked any editors, or employees whom dared to be critical of Israel, throughout his media empire, evidently he is not a Semitic Supremacist, and in fact is a kind philanthropist spending his cash on loss making Weekly Standard, and Foxaganda, and keeping Billy a known CIA operative on his payroll for the sake of bringing the masses the truth! The truth as set out in 'Defence of the Realm', or 'Clean Break', originally written for Biby Natansatan, later adapted for the US and implemented as 'Project for American New Century' that kick-started operation Iraqi Freedom, and or attack on Lebanon, and or the next country along, in short a state of perpetual war.

Board of Deputies of British Jews: "Pragmatic" Nazi-Zionist Collaboration was OK
http://www.counterpunch.org/brenner05252005.html

"The Nazi era is the most discussed period in history, yet most Jews and others are unaware of the interaction between Zionism, Hitler and Mussolini. This book brings to light, through the use of actual historic documents, the disservice that the Zionists did to Jews before and during the Holocaust. Some of these documents were published in English decades ago, but are only now seeing the light of day. Others are being translated into English here for the first time. Included are excerpts from Propaganda Minister Goebbels' newspaper, Der Angriff, detailing an SS-man's visit to Palestine as the Zionists' guest. Readers will also learn about Adolf Eichmann's account of his personal dealings with Hungarian Zionist Reszo Kasztner, who was later assassinated in Israel as a Nazi collaborator who betrayed 400,000 Hungarian Jews. Also revealed is pro-Zionist propaganda put out by the Nazis, such as a medal for getting Jews to Palestine and a Nazi board game where the object is to move Jews to Palestine. The documents contained in this book were selected with due care so that a rounded picture of history emerges. The author concludes that Zionism betrayed the Jews; and the evidence that led him to that conclusion is contained in this book."

Who is laughing now mate?

But I digress, the facts remain that the neo-con culprits are slaving away to bring about a middle east conducive to Israeli liking, ie, no other country exist other than Israel.

What is a neo-con?

VinceP1974 said...

And how is quoting an Iranian official considered to be "foaming" freak?

Mr. Smarterthanyou said...

Neo-con is a word invented by liberals to describe jews, who used to be solid socialists, who woke up and became conservative after 9/11. Liberals can't believe that a jew could actually be conservative. You really have to read between the lines to see how this word came about, mainly by seeing WHO they first started using this term on.

Now, like any word created by the left, it has morphed.

VinceP1974 said...

Mr. Smart: I did know what it meant.. I wanted to see how the person using it was going to justify using it.

Your right though, usually it's used as a code word for non-leftist jews.

Anonymous said...

Neo-con, in terminology, has nothing to do with Jewish individuals. It's a generalized term that was put into use after WW2 to refer to the new conservative movement that included many former liberals and socialists.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo-con

But then again both of you grasp at straws so often I'm not surprised you'd come to yet another incorrect conclusion.

VinceP1974 said...

daniel dum dum:

From your beloved Wikipedia:

"First, "neo-conservative" is a codeword for Jewish. As antisemites did with big business moguls in the nineteenth century and Communist leaders in the twentieth, the trick here is to take all those involved in some aspect of public life and single out those who are Jewish. The implication made is that this is a Jewish-led movement conducted not in the interests of all the, in this case, American people, but to the benefit of Jews, and in this case Israel. "

"[If] you read the Middle Eastern press, it seems to be a euphemism for some kind of nefarious Zionist conspiracy. But I think that, in my view it's very important to approach [foreign policy] not from a doctrinal point of view. I think almost every case I know is different. Indonesia is different from the Philippines. Iraq is different from Indonesia. I think there are certain principles that I believe are American principles – both realism and idealism. I guess I'd like to call myself a democratic realist. I don't know if that makes me a neo-conservative or not. "

But you knew this, don't act like you didn't.

Holy shit, two psychotic neocons (one who is about to be booted from the world bank because of obviously unethical behavior) claim that it's anti-semitic and you jump on that bandwagon? It's a general term, and very few who use it have any intentions on using it to describe Jewish individuals. The actual definition of neo-con, given in that entry, has NOTHING to do with your narrow minded view of the world...

But again, this would take LOGIC to figure out, and you've proven to have none of that. You have a lot of hatred towards Islam and those with brown skin, as you have proven by throwing around babble about how Iran is evil and wants to conquer the world, but you have little idea of anything you actually talk about.

"Writing in the current issue of the National Interest, Rich Lowry, a conservative of the non-neo variety, defines a neocon as someone with a "messianic vision" of using American power to spread democracy, an indifference to the crucial distinction between what would be nice and what is essential to national security, and excessive optimism that we can arrange things according to our own values in strange and faraway lands."

Vince, if you had any ability to read, you'd figure out that I was proving you horribly wrong. The idea that "neo-con" is anti-semitic is simply a ploy by the neo-cons to try to trample the word before it properly labels them for their disgusting and destructive politics. As i said, it was a term invented post ww2 to describe former liberals turned conservative. It has mutated in meaning since then, as the source I cited indicated. If you can't follow that basic logic, then please delete yourself immediately and let the adults have their conversations.

lol it's funny that neo cons always crack under the burden of research and evidence. Those type of values cannot hold up to any form of reality, since they are based on hard hearted fiction instead of a breadth of reason and research findings.

Which definition of neo-con are you using now?

- Dirty Jew

- It's a generalized term that was put into use after WW2 to refer to the new conservative movement that included many former liberals and socialists.

Well, ET, are you going to do something about the strange characters populating your blog? Winston Effing something is a far right total nutcase. You were much too polite to him. And how about this Spengies character and his operation Ajax? And his idee fixe about bad US and good Iran? I can't understand why they are using your blogs for their mastubatory obssessions. Please don't allow them to use your blog as a soapbox for their moronic ideas. I visit your blog because I like your writing and I am interested in your experience as an american woman living in Iran. Please consider deleting posts not relevant to topics discussed. I am sure your are not interested in being a cop but you may want to disable the comments function until some people take their fight elsewhere.

Danielspengies and his operation ajax talk is actually a history lesson. Operation Ajax has helped to shape the last sixty years of relations between Iran and the west. It is incredibly important because it show how badly the west screwed up relations with a country, due solely to its lust for oil and its paranoid delusions over communism. I don't know what ET thinks of me personally, but I'm sure she's heard about Operation Ajax on more than one occasion. It was the start of a imperialistic pattern that the vicious US and it's European lapdogs have repeated time and time again. Any blood that has been shed from Iran since rests solely on the hands of the US and its allies.

And VinceP, I only used one definition for neocon. It's not my fault you can't follow a logical conversation.

Anonymous said...

And Vincp, for future reference, you might want to consult the Iran section of my blog for a history lesson. Remember to read everything, memorize it, and make it your own, since it's the reality of the situation than is 180 degrees opposite of your anti-islam, I hate brown people, views.

Mr. Smarter Than You,

I deleted your comment for the following reasons: you rightly pointed out that daniel spengies has his own blog, yet you chose to attack him for his posts there on this blog. You called him names without making real arguments. As I pointed out, I love vigorous debate. But we are all old enough to distinguish name-calling and debate.

Mr. Smarterthanyou said...

Accusing people of bigotry without justification is just as bad as calling someone an idiot or an asshole. But it seems the the type of invective that leftists throw out are more socially acceptable than when the normal guy just plain calls BS on it.

That is bias.

Kamran and Tori said...

Mr. STY, I agree with you about the bigotry remark. The thing is, I had not yet posted my comments policy when that was written. On top of that, I do not have the bandwidth or the time to delete everything that was written earlier. I am too impatient with my slow internet connection for that kind of work.

So, your comment came after the policy was posted. Fair or not, that's the way it goes.

Mr. Bill O'REALLY(?) is a moron. My impression of a neocon is that they are hawks. They are intent on the supremacy of the US as a military power, which I think we have never intentionally wanted to be.

As for the Jewish connection to neocons, there are Jewish neocons like Wolfowitz, and there are plenty of non-Jewish neocons like George Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Condi Rice, to name a few. Jews in fact are usually very uncomfortable with neocon policies.

VinceP1974 said...
