Hard to post about Iran when all the focus is nuclear. I am just dazed and confused...
I am sitting in a library in America. It is a fabulous place. I am surrounded by activity: people typing, whispering, researching, reading, checking out books and "other media." I am not worried about anyone looking over my shoulder or tracing my internet activity. I don't care.
Libraries are such amazing places. Live in a country like Iran for awhile and experience the locking away of knowledge and you'll want to leave your entire estate to your local public library ...
The past two weeks have been filled with family, celebrations, severe storms, and an explosion of spring.
Expect more next week... Until then happy holidays and happy spring.

Happy Sizdeh Bedar
One of my favorite holidays!
Part of me wishes I had been in Iran instead of in a tornado shelter with my heart beating fast and the power out. Woke up to find our most beautiful tree snapped in two, part of the roof gone, and our neighbor's fence just sliced at the base like someone sawed it off.
First time I have been scared in a storm since I was a child.
