What i like about you is that you believe in what you are doing, you believe in what is happening.

For me true belief is when a person is able to see (abstractly) or imagine what he believes in. As i see you see Azad (free) Iran, but you also realise that this is not easy and takes a lot of commitment. Keep up with your posts! They are very encouraging and motivating.

Cheers,

Ruslan As(z)adRuslan Asadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13557099757162168009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5467559.post-5177201844376451252010-02-10T10:51:18.252+03:302010-02-10T10:51:18.252+03:30Matt, It's nice to know that you're still ...Matt, It's nice to know that you're still out there, reading and commenting. As an American with no Iranian ancestry but one who morally supports the Iranian people and yearns for the day when they will be free of the yoke of the Islamic Republic, you really captured my emotions well. It's all often too easy to forget that establishing a true representative government is not as easy as flicking a light switch. While I am apprehensive of Mousavi's motives due to his less than stellar record in the '80s which you point out so well, I can understand why he would have support.

I am also not naƮve enough, unlike most of the MSM sadly, to believe that Iranians would come out and openly state their intentions, knowing what the government would do to them. It's all too often easy to state what a nation-state's course should be without ever having stepped foot in it, making judgements without ever having first hand knowledge of the situation, etc. As you previous post a few weeks back against the New York Times proved, they (the MSM) do this too often. I try to avoid it as best as I can.

Thanks for a phenomenal post! IRAN AZAD!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
